This was the perfect birthday gift for my boyfriend. We love trying new things together and the box did not let us down. It was full of fun and delicious treats. We can’t wait for our next box!

I got this for my boyfriend for Valentines and we both loved how tasty the snacks were. We enjoyed the experience of reading the booklet that gave the cultural facts behind the snacks. There was also a lot of variety and there were a lot more snacks than I was expecting. The only thing I didn’t exactly like was that it just came in the regular Japan Candy Box, and not an additional shipping box. Overall, for the price this box was amazing and I would definitely purchase again!

Honestly, quite disappointed. Most of the treats come in taster size and the quality is on the cheap side (very sugary, very strong artificial flavouring – that kind of candy). All sweets combined would cost you about 5 dollars if you bought it in Japan yourself. So if you take exotic part out of the equation, all that’s left is bad overpriced candy :) Sorry!

This was a fun way to try snacks my family would likely not get to try otherwise. Did we like everything in the box? No. Did we like trying everything? YES!

I have picked up the box from my local post office today. The box is packed with so many interesting items! :) Furthermore, there is also a guide included, which tells you what is what. I started my subscription cuz I am currently learning Japanese and more cultural insight will only be better.

It was great to get the monthly Candy Box. Everything in the box was a fun surprise or a unique new item. The packaging was great and the quantity was good.
